Kohat depts to observe Anti-Corruption Week

In order to review preparations for holding Anti-Corruption Week from December 2nd to 9th in Kohat district, a special meeting was held with the Deputy Commissioner Abdul Akram Chitrali in the chair at his Camp Office here on Tuesday.
The meeting reviewed preparations for Anti-Corruption Week in detail and certain important decisions were taken in this regard.
The meeting beside Additional Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Waqas and Regional Officer Information Irshad Afridi, was also attended by the principals of different Colleges and authorities concerned.
On this occasion all the departments and institutions were assigned their duties and directed to share their proposed programs with the Deputy Commissioner Office at the earliest.
During the Anti-Corruption Week, a grand seminar will be held in the District Council Hall on the menace of corruption and will be followed by a walk which will be participated by the people from different walks of life in large numbers.
Similarly, all the departments will display Banners at their offices with slogans against the scourge of corruption. Furthermore, the educational institutions will also organize special programs on corruption.
The Deputy Commissioner said that corruption is a menace and its elimination is our religious and national obligation. He directed that a special awareness session up to 5 minutes in the morning assembly on corruption should be started on a daily basis in all educational institutions across the district so that corruption should be considered as a hateful act and clean and clear society can be formed.
