KP Governor directs for third party audit in all public sector universities

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi here Thursday directed for third party audit in all public sector universities and ordered Governor Secretariat to submit details about conduct of audits or otherwise of the universities in the province.
He passed these directives while presiding over high level meeting at Governor House where he received departmental briefing about Governor Inspection Team.
The Governor directed simplification of process of fact finding enquiries and completion of investigations procedure 100 percent transparant under the law and merit.
The Governor was briefed by Chairman Governor Inspection Team Mian Muhammad about the department duties, structure, objectives, preparation of investigation report and approval, legal status, rules and regulations.
The Chairman said that during last four years 54 inquiries reports of different uncertainties were completed.
Thd Governor directed enhancement of the department capacity keeping in view of importance of the Governor Inspection Team.
Governor said that every possible resources would be provided to the said department to strengthen it financially and administratively.
He directed full implementation on the inquiries reports and should not be deferred.
Nepalese Ambassador calls on KP Governor
Tapas Adhikari, Ambassador of Nepal to Pakistan here Thursday called on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi at Governor House and exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.
They also discussed an increasing cooperation in different sectors between the two countries especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Governor invited Nepalese business community to visit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Faisal Karim Kundi said trade sector would be largely benefited with the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.
He said that vast opportunities of investment in different sectors including mines, mineral, energy, gemstones and tourism are existed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and wants equall opportunities for educated male and female besides youth to excell in their respective fields to increase pace of economic development.
The Governor said that technical manpower and educated youth would be largely benefited from foreign investment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Governor said that Pakistan especially Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was placed in an important strategic geographical location in world.
The Nepalese Ambassador stressed on expanding bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries for mutual benefits of people of Pakistan and Nepal.
The Nepalese Ambassador said that there is historic relations between Pakistan and Nepal.
