KP govt to observe ‘Black Day’ in solidarity with Kashmiris

In order to express solidarity with the people of India Occupied Kashmir, the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will observe “Black Day” on October 27 on Wednesday (today), said a handout.
All the provincial government departments have been directed to hold special functions on the “ Black Day” to condemn the government of India and mark the day as a protest against the Indian government usurpation and illegal occupation of Kashmir.
According to a statement, “Fatiha and special prayers will be recited for the martyrs in the mosques across the province. Events protests and walks will also be organized against the India government at the district and tehsil levels.” Similarly, events will be organized under the leadership of commissioners and deputy commissioners at the divisional and district levels. Pakistan and Kashmir flags along with flakes and banners will also be displayed on roads and prominent places across the province.
The department of education will organize speech competitions in colleges and schools on the occasion of Black Day, while in all schools, special prayers in the morning assembly and principals have also been directed to address the students regarding the day.
