Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Housing Dr Amjad Ali has directed officials of the Provincial Housing Authority to ensure uninterrupted execution of government affairs and adopt measures based on thrift and savings at the departmental level.
Chairing a meeting on the performance of the authority, the minister was briefed on the status and progress of various housing projects being managed by the Provincial Housing Authority.
During the meeting, Mr Ali instructed officials to ensure the provision of all necessary facilities in residential projects and emphasised the protection and plantation of trees within housing schemes.
He also directed authorities to take further steps in this regard and put in place an effective monitoring system.
The minister stressed the need to follow the government’s good governance roadmap and strictly implement recently announced austerity and savings measures.
