The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA) on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to ensure a transparent, merit-based, and modern recruitment process for field operators.
The ceremony was held at the Central Police Office, Peshawar, and was attended by senior police officials and ETEA representatives. DIG Headquarters Abbas Majeed Marwat and Executive Director ETEA Adil Safi formally signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions.
Under the MoU, ETEA will oversee all stages of recruitment, including the written examination, screening tests, and result preparation, ensuring a fair, secure, and merit-based system that provides equal opportunities to all candidates.
IGP KP Zulfiqar Hameed said the collaboration reflects the police department’s commitment to modernising recruitment and strengthening public trust. “Merit and transparency are our top priorities. This initiative is part of ongoing reforms aimed at enhancing institutional capacity, improving service delivery, and inducting qualified personnel into the force,” he added.
Executive Director ETEA Adil Safi assured that the agency would conduct all recruitment phases with honesty, professionalism, and transparency. Both institutions reiterated their shared commitment to maintaining integrity and competence throughout the process.
