KP revenues surge by 51pc in November 2024: Muzzammil Aslam

PESHAWAR: Advisor to the KP Chief Minister on Finance and Interprovincial Coordination, Muzzammil Aslam, stated that there has been a 51percent increase in tax revenues for November 2024. Speaking on Thursday, he highlighted that revenues rose from Rs. 2,908 million in November 2023 to Rs 4,412 million in the same month this year. He further noted that overall revenues for the period from July to November 2024 experienced significant growth of 45.6pc, increasing from Rs 13,480 million last year to Rs. 19,640 million this year. Mr. Aslam attributed this growth to enhanced Cess rates, improved royalties, and streamlined online collection mechanisms. He added, “We anticipate further increases in non-tax revenues, supported by higher compliance and continued reforms.” DLP Report
