KP Ulema board praises Pak-Saudi defense agreement

PESHAWAR: The Muttahida Ulema Board Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a forum representing scholars from all schools of thought, has lauded the historic Pakistan-Saudi defense agreement. In this regard, an important Ulema seminar was held in Peshawar under the auspices of the Board, focusing on the protection of the Haramain Sharifain and Al-Aqsa Mosque. Distinguished scholars from across the province participated in the gathering. Addressing the seminar under the chairmanship of Sheikh-ul-Hadith Ehsan-ul-Haq, the speakers praised the landmark defense pact, terming it not merely a defense cooperation but a reflection of the spiritual and faith-based bond between the two Islamic nations. Scholars further emphasized that safeguarding the sanctity of Haramain Sharifain is a collective responsibility of the entire Muslim Ummah. At the conclusion of the seminar, members of the Mutahidda Ulema Board strongly condemned the ongoing atrocities in Palestine, particularly in Gaza, and unanimously passed a resolution in this regard.
