Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information and Public Relations, Shafi Jan, visited the Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal–run Ehsaas Center in Kohat, where he met orphaned and underprivileged children and reviewed facilities being provided to them.
During the visit, he spent time with the children, inquired about their well-being and discussed their education, accommodation and daily routines in an informal setting. Shafi Jan said the government considers the welfare, education and proper upbringing of orphaned and deserving children a top priority. He directed the center’s management to further improve facilities and ensure a safe and supportive environment for the children so they can grow into responsible and productive members of society.
The adviser also appreciated the performance of the Ehsaas Center, saying the care of vulnerable children is a collective social responsibility. Officials of the institution briefed him on the services and welfare initiatives currently being provided at the facility.
