KARACHI: The accused Abdul Aziz and Mehran who are arrested in Karachi Police Office (KPO) attack case have resorted to Sindh High Court (SHC) to seek bail. SHC while issuing notice to Prosecution and investigation officer has called reply till June 22. The court has directed to present complete record of trial till next hearing so that different aspects of the case could be reviewed. The counsel for the petitioners took the plea during the hearing that the accused persons have no relevance with attack on Karachi police office. According to counsel Abdul Aziz and Mehran were arrested after 27 days of the attack. While they were not nominated in the initial cases. The counsel told the court statements of 26 witnesses have been recorded so far in the case. However not a single witness has given any statement regarding the alleged role of the accused.
