LAHORE: Lahore Bar Association (LBA) has banned entry of police into subordinate courts. LBA is not allowing policemen to enter into courts. The clients have also been stopped from entering into courts. President LBA Rana Intizar Hussain had said two days earlier while addressing lawyers meeting that if raids are not stopped against the lawyers then no police man will be allowed to enter into court. Rana Intezar Hussain had demanded of IG Punjab to stop action against lawyers forthwith besides barring police from conducting raids on the residences of the lawyers and harassing them. Raids on the residences of lawyers and their arrests and violation of sanctity of veil and four walls be stopped forthwith, he demanded. He went on to say Hassam Niazi and Haider Majeed advocate be brought to public immediately and if there is any case against them then it should be presented in the court. Otherwise police will not be allowed to enter any court from tomorrow. ONLINE
