LAHORE: Petition seeking removal of name of senior anchor and journalist Imran Riaz from ECL has been filed in Lahore High Court (LHC). Imran Riaz Khan has filed petition through advocate Azhar Siddique in LHC. The petitioner has taken plea in the petition that information is there name of Imran Riaz Khan has been removed from PNIL list. Now his name is being put in ECL or PCL. No FIR is registered against Imran Riaz. Imran Riaz Khan further said putting name in ECL or PCL is violation of constitution. The said act runs contrary to article 15 and 16 of constitution. The petitioner has further requested in the petition if name has been removed from PNIL then court should stop inclusion of the name in other lists. Online
