LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered to take stern action against making video of court during hearing of the case. Chief Justice (CJ) LHC Aalia Neelum while taking tough stance on making video of court during the hearing of case and running it on social media has remarked courts will not be allowed to be made a joke. She ordered RPO Gujranwala Hafiz Cheema to present complete record of one Romila accused in theft case tomorrow. CJ LHC remarked entry into court with mobile phone will be declared banned so that the sanctity and dignity of the courts could be maintained. She expressed serious reservations over circulation of video of civil judge ‘s court on social media. During hearing of the case the accused Romila was asked where she lived. She replied she is residing in Murree. On her national identity card, permanent address is recorded of Karachi and temporary address is recorded of Gujranwala. The CJ LHC also raised question why the identity card was not got updated after divorce. She expressed concern with reference to cheating NADRA system. The accused Romila submitted an unconditional apology before court. The CJ LHC remarked the apology is no solution to this problem as the situation has reached this stage due to apology. The CJ LHC directed RPO to verify the national identity card and present report thereof in the court tomorrow. The hearing of the case was adjourned till tomorrow. ONLINE
