Lahore High Court (LHC) ordered to stop any disciplinary action against Khadija Shah. Justice Ali Baqir Najafi heard Khadija Shah’s plea against money laundering inquiry in FIA. The court stopped taking any disciplinary action against Khadija Shah. Lawyer Samir Khosa had taken a stand in the court that FIA had not received any complaint in this regard.
This is not an FIR, it is an inquiry. This is a sue motto enquiry, any inquiry is based on any information, there are 5 things in this inquiry that are out of the routine, no one has come forward to complain. Khadija Shah got bail in 4 cases, then was arrested in MPO, then taken to Quetta, lawyer said. Lawyer requested in plea for temporarily stay this inquiry. Further Khadija Shah Counsel said parties should be prevented from re-detaining Khadija Shah.
FIA has been made party to the petition. Samir Khosa added in arguments that Khadija Shah was arrested in various cases, after getting bail she was arrested in one new case after another.
FIA started money laundering inquiry on the basis of malicious intent.
FIA started money laundering inquiry against law, lawyer said that Court should ordered the money laundering inquiry to be declared illegal.
Later, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till December 22.
