Hundreds of activists from religious parties gathered at Bab-e-Khyber, Jamrud on Friday to resent the decision passed by the Supreme Court in favor of Ahmadis.
It is to be stated here that the Supreme Court of Pakistan passed a ruling on February 8 about the right of the persecuted Ahmadiyya community of printing and disseminating the “Tafseer-e-Sagheer,” the shorter version of the 10-volume “Tafseer-e-Kabeer,.”
The activity was organized under the banner of Jamiat Ulleme-e-Islam, Pakistan Fazalrehman(JUI-F) and Crane party and was attended by a large number of their workers.
The rally was taken out from the local press club to Bab-e-Khyber and the participants were carrying placards inscribed with slogans in favor of Khatme Naboowat while condemning the decision for allowing the Ahmadis to preach their rituals.
Speaking on the occasion district leadership of JUI-F including Maulana Saeed Khan,Haji Muhammad Kareem Afridi,Maulana Darwaish,Maulana Gul Nawaz and others expressed their deep concern over the disputed verdict and declared it attack on the belief of Khatme Naboowat that hurt feelings of the Muslims.
They maintained that negation of the belief of the last Prophet hood of the Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) deserves no concession and the judges of the Supreme Court should uphold the faith as per the Constitution of Pakistan.
The rulers were disregardful although the Ullemas will never compromise at the blasphemy of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).
The religious scholars were deliberately kept out of Parliament; however they would lay down their lives for the safeguard of the faith of the Khatme Naboowat, they vowed.
Similar protest moots were also organized in Landi Kotal and Bara.
