Locals parliamentarians fail to resolve issue of Koki Khel IDPs

The local members’ of parliament have failed so far to resolve the issue of Internal Displaced Persons (IDPs) of Koki Khel and resuming Pak-Afghan highway for traffic movement.
Addressing to a press conference held in Landi Kotal press club Pakistan People Party (PPP) district Khyber head Shah Rehman Shinwari flanked by district spokesperson of Peoples Labor Bureau Gul Bahadar, PPP Tehsil Chief Fateh Rehman and others said that Koki Khel Internal Displaced Persons (IDPs) had a genuine demands however their prolonged protest sit-in multiplied problems of residents of Landi Kotal besides sufferings of Pak-Afghan bilateral trade.
He criticized the parliamentarians of Khyber for their neglected attitude towards the Koki Khel issue and said they had been elected to raise voice for their rights at the parliament floor and not to collect incentives from the government.
If the Koki Khel IDPs was not addressed and the supply line was not resumed to Landi Kotal then the road blockade would cause intra-tribesmen clashes, he added.
The PPP Khyber chief demanded of the concerned authorities to resolve the matter of protestors and recommence routine life activities at Pak-Afghan highway.
He threatened of planning an indefinite agitation against the authorities concerned if the Koki Khel issue was not resolved in near future.
