MARDAN
Director of Friends of Palestine, Bilal Ahmad Mustafa, has said that the silence of the United Nations on Israeli aggression and brutality in Palestine is meaningful.
“Israel is flouting open international laws, but the United Nations is not reacting, while the role of Islamic countries is also limited to condemning statements “, he added. He expressed these views while addressing meet press program at Mardan press club.
Muhammad Al-Qad of Gaza Al-Jazeera News, Muhammad Zahir Shah, Media Cell in-charge of Friends of Palestine, District Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Ghulam Rasool, local Amir Muhammad Jahanzeb and other leaders were also present on this occasion.
Bilal Ahmad Mustafa said that the two-state formula is not acceptable to the Palestinians, Israel is not a state but an occupying Zionist power and this could lead to negotiations on a point that they would leave possession.
He argued that the Zionists have unleashed mountains of cruelty and brutality on innocent Palestinians and the United Nations is playing the role of a silent spectator.
“On the contrary, the world media is accusing Hamas of killing Israeli women and children”, he argued. He added that about 170 journalists have been martyred and 70 have been imprisoned due to Israeli brutality in eleven months.
The only sin of these journalists is that they were showing the Israeli aggression and brutality in Palestine to the world. He said that the Palestinian people will fight for their rights till the end.
In the current situation, the journalist community has a heavy responsibility to bring the atrocities of Israel on the Palestinian people to the public so that the people can be aware of the truth.
