Muhammad Bashir Adil was unanimously elected as president and Akhunzada Fazil-e-Haq was unanimously elected general secretary of the Mardan press club here on Thursday. Faqir Hussain Hoti was unanimously elected as vice president, Parveez Shaheen was unanimously elected as finance secretary and Khurshid Wahab as joint secretary.
The election commissioner Muhammad Yaqoob Jahanzeb issued the notification of the newly elected cabinet for the year 2024.
The newly elected president vowed to work for the betterment of the journalist community. Meanwhile the political leaders, social activists and people from different walks of life visited the Mardan press club to greet the new office bearers.
