Mardan
Arshad son of Faqir Gul, resident of Pohan Colony, was shot dead by unknown assailants on January 2, 2022 in Gujar Garhi Road, Mardan. The report of which was lodged in City police station on the complaint of Zubair son of Faqir Gul, brother of the deceased. DPO Dr Zahidullah directed Special Operations headed by SP Operation Muhammad Qais, DSP Inam Jan Khan and SHO Ashiq Hussain and other investigating officers to trace and arrest the elements involved in the incident. Navigation team formed. Using modern scientific lines and professional tactics, they reached out to the victim’s brother Aamir Khan and arrested him.
During the interrogation, the arrested accused confessed to his crime and told the police, that he was involved in a dispute over property. Police also recovered the motorcycle used in the incident and arrested the father of the deceased. Meanwhile, police teams are working for the arrest of Muslim Shah, the third accomplice of the arrested accused. His arrest is also expected soon.
