Minister of Local Government and Rural Development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Faisal Amin Gandapur termed the martyrdom of Corps Commander Quetta Lt. Gen. Sarfaraz Ali and his five other army companions a great national loss who got martyrdom during flood relief operations in Lasbela district of Balochistan.
In his condolence message, the minister paid rich tributes to the martyrs and prayed for elevation of their souls in Jannah as well as expressed heartfelt sympathies and solidarity with the families of the martyred. He clarified that the sacrifices of the high officers of the Pakistan Army for the country and the nation in every difficult times will always be remembered in golden words.
Sardar Faisal Amin Gandapur also expressed sorrow and grief over the death of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s renowned psychologist Professor Dr. Muhammad Shafiq and father of former provincial minister Ziaullah Afrid who breathed their last the other day.
In separate condolence messages to the family members of the deceased, he prayed for the forgiveness of the two deceased personalities and expressed his deep sympathy with the bereaved families.
