MoU signed for free education to children of KP police martyrs, injured

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KIPS and Global Age Peshawar, educational institutes, for providing special concession in admission to the children of police department employees.
The MoU signing ceremony was held at Central Police Office Peshawar, according to a statement.
On this occasion, DIG Welfare Muhammad Kashif Mushtaq Kanju on behalf of Police Department and Executive Director Arsalan Khalid on behalf of KIPS and Global Age Peshawar signed the MoU.
Under this agreement, KIPS and Global Age Peshawar will provide special concession in admission to the children of the provincial police, especially martyred, injured and serving employees in its institution.
According to the agreement, 100 per cent discount in admissions and other services will be given for families of martyrs while 50pc discount will be available for children of serving policemen and injured during duty.
For this purpose, the students have to submit the applications for special concession in fees to the aforementioned educational institutes along with the certificate issued by the concerned DPOs or AIG Welfare.
Students who get discount in fees will be bound to follow all the rules and regulations of these educational institutions.
In his message on this occasion, Chief Operating Officer, KIPS Moghees Mir, paid tribute to the sacrifices of KP police martyrs from his platform.
“Sacrificed for tomorrow” and because of their sacrifices, we are running the wheel of life in a peaceful environment.
He said that his organization is 100 percent for the children of police martyrs and the children of seriously injured and serving personnel.
He revealed that so far more than 2200 bureaucrats have been affiliated with his organization, adding that they are now occupying high posts in different parts of the country and serving the country and the nation.
DIG Welfare Muhammad Kashif Mushtaq said that steps are being taken according to the vision of IGP KP Akhtar Hayat Khan to equip the children of the police department with the best and quality education.
