Today on 25th June 2025 a great day was marked when a ceremony to honor the sacrifice of Mr Jawad, the first multi-organ donor of the province (a young soul who died after road accident in ICU in Hayatabad Medical Complex). Ceremony was held at PICO, HMC. Dr. Asif Malik Chairman MTRA KP, Dr. Hidayatullah Director Burn & Trauma, Dr. Inayat u Rahman,Director Khyber Institute of Child Health and Dr. Asif Deputy Director MTRA graced the occasion with their presence. The parents & family members of late Jawad and patients who received the corneas as recipients were also present. The PICO faculty and students also atteneded the event. Before the start of the ceremony, a plant in the memmory of late Jawad was seeded in front of Murad Eye Bank PICO.
