MARDAN: A significant awareness session on safe and legal migration was organized here by the Labour Education Organization Mardan in collaboration with the Migrant Resource Center (MRC) Peshawar. The primary objective of the session was to provide citizens with accurate information regarding migration for employment, education, or residency abroad while highlighting the dangers associated with illegal migration. Hussain Abdali from the MRC and Hasan Hassas from the Labour Education Organization emphasized the importance of opting for legal migration to ensure the safety of life and property. They pointed out that most people choose migration to seek a better future, but the lack of proper information often leads to illegal migration. Many believe that illegal migration is a quicker and cheaper way to reach their desired destination, but the reality is quite the opposite. Participants found the session extremely informative and appreciated the efforts of the MRC in raising awareness about this crucial issue. This initiative is part of a broader effort to educate the public on the benefits of legal migration and the severe risks associated with illegal practices. APP
