JI Amir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman while terming PTI workers who have participated in protest as “jhoomer” of forehead has said interior minister Mohsin Naqvi should immediately step down and a judicial commission to probe into incident.
“ PTI workers who have participated in protest are jhoomer of our forehead, Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi should resign forthwith for using brute force against the demonstrators and a judicial commission to probe into incident be constituted, he said this while addressing a press conference here Friday.
Dictatorial attitude was adopted in Islamabad on November 26. There is massive rage in the people over this incident. I want to ask what government has done it has done under what law and constitution, he added,
He reiterated form 47 is at helm of affairs in the country, But a democratic system is in place only in name. Constitution is there. Human rights are enshrined in the constitution. Every political worker has right to raise his voice.
Every political party has right to stage protest and demonstration. But ruling elite wants that the entire country should be turned into no go area for political workers and when people rise for staging the protest then they should be targeted in firing.
