Former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has said Pakistan day is a bright and unforgettable day of our history.
In a message on the eve of Pakistan Day Nawaz Sharif said it is fruit of sacrifices of the martyrs that terrorism is abating in the country. Pakistan emerged on the map of world in the wake of democratic struggle and power of vote.
The national development lies in continuity of democratic system and sanctity of vote, he remarked. A strong parliament and rule of constitution is the only way to move forward.
If we surmount the milestone of development then we will have to remember the sacrifices of our forefathers and will have to follow their footsteps, he asserted.
