On the directions of Inspector General of National Highways and Motorways Police, Inam Ghani, the National Highways and Motorways Police Annual Sports Festival will start on March 03, 2022 at National Highways and Motorways Police Training College, Sheikhupura. Teams from all zones of Motorway Police, Motorway North Zone, Motorway Central One Zone, Motorway Central Two Zone, North Zone, South Zone, Central Zone, West Zone, Training College and Headquarters are participating in these games.
The annual sports festival will feature competitions in cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, tug-of-war, table tennis, badminton, shooting, long jump, snooker, athletics and other sports. A large number of female officers as well as male officers and officials are participating in the sports festival. Preparations for the annual sports festival have entered the final stages while arrangements have been completed. On the occasion, Inspector General Inam Ghani said that the purpose of organizing Sports Festival is to create teamwork, mutual cooperation, discipline and trust among the officers. He said that he expects all the officers participating in sports to inculcate in them sportsman spirit as well as endurance and spirit of progress through sports. Sports activities always create a healthy environment. A healthy body is the guarantee of a healthy mind. Play plays a key role in setting the human mind in a positive direction and keeping any force active.
