NATO drone, AAF target headquarters of Taliban

Kabul (Online) :NATO air drone and Afghan Air Forces (AAF) started attacks on a huge control center of Taliban rebels in southwestern Urozgan province on Wednesday, Afghan media reported.
Dost Nayab spokesman of Urozgan governor told BNA reporter, the huge headquarters of armed rebels located in Sarshkhalo region, Tarinkot city the provincial capital of Urozgan province, which targeted by NATO and Afghan air forces.
The attacks ongoing and it has been said the area will be cleared from being of insurgents until night, Nayab added.
The exact numbers of casualties is not clear so far.
According to another report, three armed oppositions were killed following air raid carried out by Afghan security forces on militants’ hideout in Charchino district of the province last night.
There is no any harm suffered to civilians following the assaults, a commander of Afghan National Army said.
Also Afghan Commando forces with discovering and defusing three rounds of mines succeeded to prevent three bloodiest incidents in southern Helmand province.
The mines were placed by the insurgents on highways of Sangeen district of the province and wanted to target innocent civilians, spokesman of Commando forces said.
