MUZAFFARABAD
Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif PML-N Quaid will undertake two days visit of Azad Kashmir in next week. As per media reports he will arrive in Muzaffarabad on February 23 and return on February 24 on conclusion of his visit. Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz will too accompany him during the visit. Nawaz Sharif will hold important meetings with PML-N Azad Kashmir leadership and workers. The meetings with PML-N Azad Kashmir president Shah Ghulam Qadir, parliamentary leader Raja Ghulam Qadir and others are included in his program.
During this visit the current political situation , organizational matters and strategy on coming polls will be discussed with party leaders.
The meetings with the applicants for party tickets in connection with AJK general election are likely.
Minister for Kashmir affairs Amir Muqam has confirmed the visit of Nawaz Sharif to Azad Kashmir.
Nawaz Sharif will go to the residence of former AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider.
During his visit to AJK election preparations will start formally. Directives will be issued to party leadership on future strategy.
Tickets in regard to some constituencies are likely to be finalized.
Earlier Mian Nawaz Sharif scheduled visit to Muzaffarabad was postponed.
