Budget 2023-24
ISLAMABAD
Federal government summoned meeting of National Economic Council on Tuesday to approve economic targets and development projects of upcoming budget. According to source finance ministry will get approval of upcoming fiscal year development plan and economic targets in NEC meeting which is summoned on June 06. Prime minister will chair NEC meeting. Source told that federal ministers and chief ministers of four provinces will attend the meeting. Federal government and provincial governments’ development plans will be reviewed in this meeting.
2659 billion budget is proposed for new fiscal year.
There are chances of 1100 billion to be allocated for development projects.
1559 billions allocation chances for the development projects of provinces .
