MULTAN: Commissioner Aamir Karim Khan chaired a meeting to review a proposal for establishing a public park in the heart of the city, on Saturday. The meeting examined a plan to convert the existing green belt at Chungi No.9 into a fully developed park to provide quality recreational facilities to residents. Commissioner Aamir directed authorities to prepare a comprehensive plan for the project. He further instructed that the temporary Metro Command and Control Center be shifted to a permanent building so that the vacated land could be utilized for the park. He instructed the Multan Development Authority (MDA) to ensure immediate progress on the initiative, stressing that provision of a healthy and pleasant environment for citizens remains a top priority.
