Newly Constructed Basic Health Unit Inaugurated in Khyber

Peshawar: Security Forces inaugurated a newly constructed Basic Health Unit (BHU) in Surkas Ahmad Khan Killi, Khyber district. The construction work for the BHU started in May 2022 and was completed in February 2023. The project’s scope included the construction of the main building, staff living quarters, a boundary wall, a lavatory block, drilling for water and installation of a piping system. The inauguration ceremony was attended by local Maliks and residents of the area. Bilawal Afridi, former MPA, was the chief guest at the occasion. The newly constructed BHU will cater to the medical needs of the local population and provide them with access to quality healthcare services. The facility is expected to benefit several people in the area who previously had limited access to healthcare facilities. Security Forces has been working tirelessly to improve the infrastructure in Khyber, and the inauguration of the BHU is another milestone achieved in this regard. The inauguration ceremony ended with a prayer for the success of the BHU and the Security Forces’ continued efforts to improve the living conditions of the people in Khyber. Our Correspondent
