No compromise on service delivery, cleanliness in Peshawar: Riaz

Commissioner Peshawar Riaz Mehsud has reiterated that sanitation and service delivery in the provincial capital will not be compromised. He assured that the provincial government was addressing the challenges and financial difficulties faced by the Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP).
Chairing a meeting of administrative department heads, Mehsud directed immediate action to repair operational vehicles and address driver shortages. The meeting was attended by the WSSP GM Operations Mohammad Ijaz, GM HR and Syed Zameerul Hasan, CFO Haider Ali, GM Projects Mehboob Alam, Zonal Managers, and other officials.
He emphasized coordination with neighborhood and village council chairmen and public representatives to ensure timely complaint resolution.
Mehsud also instructed identification of absent or underperforming employees for disciplinary action.
The meeting was informed that WSSP’s revenue has increased by 100 percent following the implementation of a new tariff, with public representatives and business organizations taken into confidence.
