LAHORE
JI Amir Hafiz Naeem has said there should be no extension in service period of army chief and judges.
He said this while addressing a press conference here in Mansoora Wednesday.
He held the procedure for appointment of Supreme Court (SC) judges is already settled which should be maintained.
There are several such aspects in the draft bill of constitutional amendments which need consultations. The way these constitutional amendments were being brought is such move that the parliament is being made rubber stamp.
The members of parliament have been made a market in the bid to seek their support in favor of constitutional amendments by threatening and browbeating them.
Government attitude is such that it wants to bring judges and courts of its sweet will, he added.
The way bid was made to bring these constitutional amendments is condemnable. This way is undemocratic and unconstitutional.
He observed PPP had launched nationalization policy which was bad experience economically. Then Benazir came and privatization commission was framed.
First they ruin the institutions and make them corrupt. Then they privatize the institutions.
In what number IPPs are in private sector then their loot and plunder spree should also be informed. Privatization is aimed at befooling the people. Pakistan assets are being sold out. Whichever institution comes in domain of privatization these opportunists come to purchase it.
He questioned who are you to sell out institutions.
