Regional Police Officer Malakand Range Sher Akbar Khan has said that there is no place for peace saboteurs and criminal elements in Swat and Malakand divisions.
No compromise will be made on maintaining peace in Malakand division. Enemies of peace and anti-social elements will be dealt with iron hands. Ideal peace has been established in Swat. No one is allowed to take the law into their own hands. The police have been equipped with modern weapons and all types of weapons according to the requirements of the present era.
The police of Swat and Malakand Division are not the police of the past. The morale of the police is high and they are fully capable of dealing with all kinds of situations, he expressed these views while talking to a delegation of traders led by Malakand Division Traders Federation President Abdul Rahim and senior journalists of Swat at his office in Saidu Sharif. On this occasion, President Abdul Rahim Khan and journalists assured the DIG of their full role in maintaining sustainable peace and eliminating social evils, for which Sher Akbar Khan thanked him and said that it is not possible to control crimes without the cooperation of the people, business community and journalists.
He said that thanks to the sacrifices made by the people of Swat for the establishment of peace, the peace established in Swat will not be allowed to be sabotaged. He said that the police are determined to completely eradicate crimes. Our goal is to save the new generation from this disaster by eliminating the scourge of drugs.
He said that strict instructions have been given to the concerned policemen to treat the people coming to all police stations and checkpoints in a friendly manner so that the relationship between the police and the public can be further strengthened and stabilized.
