For the past three days, Jazz network signals have been shut down in the Wana tribal district of South Waziristan, students, business community and common people have been disconnected from each other due to which the residents of the area are facing severe problems.
In this regard, an engineer working in Jazz Network Company said on condition of anonymity, that a few days ago, unknown persons fired at the Jazz Tower located in the hilly area of ​​Cooch Mina, far from Wana, which seriously damaged it, it is difficult to reactivate it.
He said that the strong possibility is that Jazz Company will link Jandola to Wana to restore the network, then the network will be restored, which will take 10 to 15 days.
On the other hand, the Wana Students Society has also filed a rate petition in the Islamabad High Court for the restoration of 3G and 4G, as the net services have been suspended in Wana, South Waziristan for the last 3 months.
Due to which not only people are facing serious problems but students have also lost from taking online classes and taking admissions, however intensive efforts are being made to rehabilitate the students.
Ayaz Wazir, a senior leader of ANP, while talking to the media, strongly demanded the federal government and the military leadership to take emergency steps to restore Jazz network, which has been closed for a few days,
And also restore 3G and 4G, which have been closed for three months, so that the problems of students and business community are reduced and the communication is restored with each other.
Meanwhile, whenever our security forces have discussed with the authorities about the restoration of net services, the same answer is received that 3G and 4G have been shut down due to security concerns.
