Oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected UET alumni association

Peshawar: The oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected UET Alumni Association was held here today. Prof. Dr. Rizwan M. Gul, Senior Dean and Convener of the Alumni Elections, administered the oath to the newly elected cabinet. The elections were held under the guidance and support of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Sadiq Khattak. The newly elected cabinet is comprised of Engr. Gul Bahadur Yousafzai as President, Prof. Dr. Abdul Shakoor as Vice President, Engr. Usman Khan Marwat as General Secretary, Nasir Ali as Secretary Finance, and Yasir Hammad as Secretary Marketing and PR. Staff Reporter
On the occasion, Prof. Dr. Waqar Shah, Dean Faculty of Electrical Engineering; Dr. Khizar Azam, Registrar and Election Authority; Prof. Dr. Riaz Akbar Shah, Returning Officer Alumni Elections; Dr. Feroz Shah, President EUTA; Prof. Dr. Hamid Ullah, Chairman Department of Mechanical Engineering; Prof. Dr. Farid Khan, Director USPCAS-E; Dr. Atif Sardar, General Secretary EUTA; and Prof. Dr. Afzal Khan, Department of Mechanical Engineering, congratulated the newly elected cabinet and appreciated the efforts of faculty and university administration for successfully conducting the alumni elections.
It was emphasized that the Alumni Association will now focus on establishing robust organizational systems, including strengthening its executive council. The leadership expressed confidence that UET Peshawar will continue to support and promote the Alumni Association for the mutual progress of the university and its alumni.
