Islamabad(Online): It has been revealed that nearly o.1 million clerks have been upgraded without the compulsory computer training course.
According to sources, one lakh clerks working in the federal ministries, departments and divisions were given upgradation without compulsory computer course. Under the directions of Establishment Division, it is necessary for a clerk to complete at least three to 6-week computer training course for getting upgradation. As per rules and regulations, the upgradation is given once the employee completes computer training course of at least three to six weeks.
According to National Information Technology Board, only 3169 complete the course. Now the upgraded clerks are getting their salaries according to new scale that was given to them without fulfilling the computer course.
