Public issues listened carefully, much interest shown from public side, Provincial government’s good initiative: Secretary E&P Nisar Ahmad

In light of the orders of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, under the ongoing policy of Good Governance Road Map to bring transparency in the administrative affairs of government institutions and to resolve public issues promptly, the Energy and Power Department KP organized the fourth online (live) e-Khuli Kachhari in which the public actively participated and presented their issues, for which instructions were issued on the spot for their immediate resolution.
In this context, online E-Khuli Kachehri under the chairmanship of Secretary Energy and Power Nisar Ahmad was held wherein officers of department, including Special Secretary Habib ullah Arif and all the officers and project directors of the subsidiary institutions PEDO, KPOGCL, Inspectorate of Electricity and KP Transmission and Grid System Company, also participated.
Meanwhile, in e-Khuli Kachehri totally 34 complainants from different districts of province directly discussed the issues related to the Department and all its subsidiary institutions through telephone calls, while 38 complaitnants informed the higher authorities through their written comments on Facebook.
On this occasion, the public called the holding of the e-Kachehri by the provincial government a revolutionary step of transparency and merit.
As this juncture, the Secretary Energy issued orders to the officers and officials to immediately resolve the issues faced by the public. At the end of 2 hours e-Khuli Kachehri, Secretary Power Nisar Ahmed assured the public that under the people-friendly policy of the current government, efforts are being made to resolve public issues on the spot through this practice.
Moreover, Nisar Ahmad termed e-Khuli Kachehri as a revolutionary initiative of the current provincial government and expressed hope that gaping between public and institutions is being reduced through and public is monitoring the government initiatives with merit and transparency. He directed all the officers to take steps to immediately resolve the public issues raised in e-Kachehri and submit the implementation report soon.
