Provincial minister Minority Affairs Sindh along with Parliamentary Secretary Yousuf Baloch and a number of local lawmakers held an open katchehry in Circuit House to hear issues of Tharis.
Social Assistant to CM Sindh MPA Arbab Lufufullah, MNA Dr Mahesh Kumar Malani, MPA Qasim Siraj Soomro, Senator Krishna Kumari, KhatoMal Jewan, Veerji Kolhi, Fakir Sher Muhammad, Dost Muhammad Rahimon, Engineer Gianchand, Sushel Malani, Kamla Bhel and other PPP leaders and officials of various departments attended the katchehry.
People from various areas of the district came to raise complaints before high-ups. The Minster said that he would submit a detailed report to the chief minister for the solution of their problems.
Provincial Minister said that the development of Thar is the top periority of Sindh Governemnt including Health.
Education and specially providing the drinking water to the people of Tharparkar and also Sindh Government allocated 1 arb rupees for the 60 development projects of Minority community in current financial Year 2021 and allocate budget for the talentated poor students and needy peoples for the treatment and other necessaties.
He further said that coal is the wealth of Thari people and the owner of affected land of thar coal projects which comes in the project compensation would be given to the owners of land for the resettlement.
Replying to a question Provincial Minister said that an inquiry committee would be formed for the misbehaving of Mukhtiarkar kaloi and also talked to Divisional Commissioner Mirpurkhas in this matter
Minister also replying an other question that Sindh Governemnt also formed a committee for conducting the city survey of thar that committee would also start their work very soon.
