A delegation of the opposition parties extended on Saturday a formal invitation to the JI to join a protest movement against the incumbent government. The delegation was led by President Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aain Mahmood Achakzai and included PTI’s former National Assembly speaker Asad Qaiser. The opposition alliance was recently formed. Achakzai, representing PkMAP, was elected in April as head of the alliance comprising the PTI, the SIC, the MWM, and the BNP-M. “We are running a movement in the country for the supremacy of the Constitution. Our objective is not the change of faces in power.” Achakzai said.
