Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo on Monday ‘saw-off’ Club manager Ole Solskjaer, who was sacked earlier by the club after humiliating defeat at Watford by 4-1.
“He has been my striker when I first came to Old Trafford and he has been my coach since I came back to Manchester United” wrote Ronaldo on Instagram.
Solskjaer, former teammate of Cristiano Ronaldo and now the coach, could not resume his post at United since the club’s performance has been below-par in recent weeks.
United currently stand at eighth in Premier League table, 12 points behind table leaders Chelsea.
Cristiano Ronaldo, while waving-off Solskjaer said that former Manchester United player was outstanding human being above all. “But most of all, Ole is an outstanding human being. I wish him best in whatever his life has reserved for him. Good luck my friend, you deserve it.” He wrote.
