Peshawar: In a significant step toward promoting religious harmony and curbing religious intolerance in society, Pakhtunkhwa Radio Peshawar, under the special instructions of Station Director Haroon Khan Dauddzai, broadcasted a special talk show on the theme of “Religious Harmony and Peace.” The program was produced as part of the National Action Plan, aiming to strengthen interfaith tolerance, brotherhood, and peaceful coexistence across communities. The talk show featured participants from various religious backgrounds, who spoke on the values of harmony, tolerance, and social unity from the perspectives of their respective faiths. Notable guests included Baba Ji Gurpal Singh from the Sikh community, Avinash Das representing the Hindu faith, Shehla Kamran from the Christian community, and Advocate Ameenullah representing the Muslim community. All speakers emphasized that every religion teaches peace, love, and humanity, and that in a multicultural society like Pakistan, religious tolerance is more essential than ever. The program was hosted by senior broadcaster Hidayatullah Gul, while Station Director Haroon Khan Daudzai oversaw the overall production. The show was produced by Neelam Zahir.
