Pakistan’s national hockey team produced a spirited performance to defeat hosts South Korea 4-3 in the second match of the ongoing practice series in South Korea.
Both teams played attacking hockey throughout the match. However, Pakistan’s players executed their plans effectively at key moments to secure the win, said a press release.
For Pakistan, Imad Shakeel Butt, Abu Bakar Mahmood, Ahmad Nadeem and Rana Waheed Ashraf were on target, with each scoring one goal.
The match was played as part of Pakistan’s preparations for the Asian Games.
The national team’s coaching staff praised the players’ discipline and attacking approach and expressed hope that the winning momentum will continue in the remaining matches of the series.

The coordination between Pakistan’s forward line and defense stood out during the contest.
