Pakistan emerges as key hub of global diplomacy: Hanif Abbasi

Federal Minister for Railways, Muhammad Hanif Abbasi Saturday lauded the national leadership for achieving a “remarkable diplomatic successes,” saying that Pakistan has once again positioned itself as an important center of global diplomacy.
In a statement, the minister highlighted Pakistan’s constructive and proactive role in ongoing engagements between the United States and Iran, saying that the country’s balanced and prudent approach has helped ease regional tensions.
“The world’s attention is now focused on Pakistan, with Islamabad rapidly emerging as a hub for international peace negotiations,” he said.
Abbasi emphasized that Pakistan has established itself as a credible and dependable bridge for fostering peace, stability and dialogue across the region.
He credited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visionary leadership for significantly enhancing Pakistan’s global stature, adding that the country is currently enjoying an unprecedented level of trust and recognition internationally.
The minister also acknowledged the strategic foresight of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, saying that his leadership has further reinforced national security and contributed to regional stability.
Praising Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, he said his dynamic and effective diplomacy has played a key role in strengthening Pakistan’s international image.
Referring to recent developments, he said a noticeable de-escalation in tensions between Iran and the United States, describing it as a direct outcome of Pakistan’s balanced and successful foreign policy.
He said that high-level engagements taking place in Islamabad are a clear reflection of the growing confidence of the international community in Pakistan’s diplomatic capabilities.
“Pakistan has played a crucial role in preventing potential conflict in the region and has upheld the cause of peace,” he remarked, adding that the country has emerged as a responsible, dignified and effective mediator on the global stage.
Abbasi said that Islamabad’s diplomatic progress represents a significant step toward sustainable regional peace and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to continue promoting peace, development and regional harmony in the future.
