ISLAMABAD
Pakistan has decided to issue notice through diplomatic channels on suspension of Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) by India.
According to sources foreign ministry, ministry of water resources and law ministry have done elementary work after legal and constitutional consultation in connection with suspension of IWT.
The solid reason for suspending IWT will be sought in the notice to be given thorough diplomatic sources.
Government is considering to record strong protest on international forums against suspension of IWT through which the Indian water aggression will be brought before world in effective manner.
This step is aimed at giving legal and moral justification to Pakistan stance.
Sources said all the steps will be taken with the approval of government and cabinet.
