Sri Lankan Consul General in Karachi Jagath Abeywarna has said that the friendly relations between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be further strengthened by the promotion of Archery, to organize a friendly series of Archery and traditional sports between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
He expressed these thoughts in the discussion with the delegation of Sports for All in the promotion of sports at the grass root level. The delegation was led by Shahid Hashmi chairman of Sports for All. Coach Hassan Abdullah, Vice-Chairman Farhan Khan, QAA Archery Secretary Kanwal Hasan, Quratul Ain, Shahwar Nasir, Rashid Masood and Anwarul Hasan were present.
The Consul General further said that he appreciates the efforts of Sports for All in the promotion of archery and other sports in Sindh, including Karachi, which has achieved significant results in the promotion of sports at the grass-root level, especially in schools.
The traditional sports of both countries are very interesting. We are ready for all possible cooperation with Sports for All. Friendly series of archery teams between Pakistan and Sri Lanka and coaching programs should be organized soon. will On this occasion, Chairman of Sports for All Shahid Hashmi informed the Sri Lankan Consul General about the efforts made by Sports for All in the promotion of sports.
He said that we are ready to work for the promotion of archery in Sri Lanka as well, not only archery but also interested in promoting the traditional sports of Pakistan in Sri Lanka and the traditional sports of Sri Lanka in Pakistan. are On this occasion, Sri Lankan Consul General Jagath Abhivarna was also presented with special badges and working profile of Sports for All on behalf of Sports for All.
