Pakistan’s external debts swell up owing to PTI govt: QWP

Vice Chairperson, Qaumi Watan Party (QWP), Dr Faiza Rasheed has said that the former PTI led government, which had continued sequel of in-competencies and failures that has escalated external debt from Rs 10 Billion to Rs50,000billion.
In a statement issued here on Monday, Dr Faiza said a record increase in prices of essential food commodities, including flour, sugar, pulses, ghee and rice was witnessed.
Besides, she noted the prices of electricity, gas and medicine have surged up by 400 per cent in the country.
She continued to say that the claimants and champions of Naya Pakistan [New Pakistan] had looted the national exchequer in such a manner, which results in seeing everywhere in the shape of a huge crisis.
However, the QWP leader said one of the unfortunate aspect is that the state gifts which had given to former prime minister by the foreign friendship countries, had been sold out in open market and fill their pockets that has been caused of earning bad name to Pakistan.
Owing to the wrong policies of the former PTI led government, Dr Faiza noticed the situation is going from bad to worse with each passing day.
She said the IMF has released a World Economic Outlook report in which described the increasing inflation and widening current account deficit are the major issues of Pakistan.
According to the survey report, the QWP leader said the inflation would be increased by 11.2 percent and GDP 5.3 in Pakistan.
