Paramedical Association KP has called a meeting of the Provincial Executive Council on September 21 to decide the next course of action after the failure of negotiations with the provincial government.
It was held under the chairmanship of Senior Vice President Taj Muhammad Khan. Secretary General Haji Luqman Gul and others participated in the meeting. In the meeting, the health minister’s broken promises, the legitimate work of the paramedics community and delaying tactics in unresolved issues were strongly condemned and it was decided that On September 21, the provincial executive council will hold a meeting in Peshawar in which the future plan of action will be announced.
In the meeting, illegal raids on the first aid clinics of the qualified paramedics of the Healthcare Commission, the closure or fine of the first aid clinics of the qualified paramedics.
Addressing the meeting, Provincial Senior Vice President Taj Muhammad said that if the illegal actions against the paramedics are not stopped, then all the paramedics community of the respective unit will start a boycott in the hospitals.
Also demanded and said that any amendment against the interests of Allied Health Professionals (Paramedics) in the Service Rules and Medical Faculty Rules and without taking the Provincial Paramedical Association KP into confidence will not be acceptable.
A demand was also made for the appointment of eligible and qualified paramedics on the posts of controller and registrar designated for paramedics.
Meanwhile, in the meeting, Fatiha was read for the brothers of Provincial President Anwar Khan and former Provincial President Sharaftullah Yousafzai and condolence was expressed to the bereaved families.
