NAROWAL: Justice Afghan Akhtar of Supreme Court (SC) Constitutional bench has remarked there was no law for extension in army chief tenure and Parliament enacted legislation for extension in army chief service tenure under directives of SC. Justice Musarrat Hilali has remarked while moving to counsel you are saying one thing while your client says another thing. Your client says he will talk to those who wield powers. This is real thing and not political. SC constitutional bench presided over by justice Amin ud Din Khan took up intra court appeal against trial of civilians in military courts for hearing Tuesday. Advocate Uzair Bhindari said only civil court can conduct trial of civilians under criminal clauses. Counsel for PTI founder said question is this can army act subject itself or otherwise. Justice Amin ud Din Khan remarked did any member raise voice against army act in assembly. Has any member of assembly brought private bill against army act so far.
