Peaceful and stable Afghanistan is in best interest of Pakistan: Faiq

PESHAWAR: Muhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party expressed grave concern over rising incidents of terrorism from Afghanistan and urged Islamabad and Kabul should sort out a peaceful solution of all issues. In a statement issued here on Tuesday, Mr Shah said evil designs and conspiracies of enemies should be thwarted through a joint network, as they are attempting to sabotage peace between the both countries. It is a question of the lives, progress and prosperity of 300million people, the ATP chief said. He stressed peace is essential for sustainable progress and prosperity for which a joint network should be devised, He warned if not do so, hunger/starvation and poverty will be further deepened. Faiq stated that peace is essential for the Afghan government to bring stability, progress and gain victory. Our Correspondent
Whereas, he added, taking care of neighbour and brother countries mutual respect and integrity cause of sustainable progress.
He expressed anguish over hatching conspicuous conspiracies by terrorists against Pakistan.
Shah asked the Afghan government to hunt down these elements which were trying to destabilize the region and sabotage joint peace initiatives of Pakistan and Afghanistan and creating issues on the behest of the enemy.
He said the Afghan government should also prove peace in the eyes of the international world.
Pakistan and Afghanistan are brotherly Islamic countries and a deep relationship established between the nations, Shah remarked.
The ATP chief said progress of Pakistan and Afghanistan is attached with peace.
He emphasized the atmosphere of brotherhood, trade and friendship should be strengthened between Pakistan and Afghanistan to gain progress for both the countries.
Shah said war has claimed thousands of precious lives, and lost trillions of dollars and society.
He warned there will be nothing but only destruction if terrorism shouldn’t be eliminated jointly and international rules/laws and protocols were not implemented with true spirit.
The ATP leader called up the governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan to remove all issues with joint efforts.
He said his party is giving much importance to brotherliness and progress and is ready to cooperate and support in this regard.
