PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said people were already worried and now Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has become worried.
“all the thieves of this country are all sitting around cabinet table. There is no such ministry which is not corruption ridden. There are corruption scandals of billion of rupees in every matter. Either Shahzad Akbar who is claimant of holding corrupt persons accountable has tendered resignation or he was expelled. Shahzad Akbar will now have to render account of his assets”, he said this while talking to media men outside Accountability Court (AC) Tuesday.
This is characteristic of this government that nothing becomes known when some one comes in the government and nothing becomes known to him. There is no such minister who has not failed and a minister who fails in one ministry is allocated another ministry. It is people who are suffering from it.
He pointed out that Shahzad Akbar used to hold countless press conferences and now he should hold another press conference to tell about the reasons behind his ouster. He should also provide details of his assets in this press conference. Shahzad Akbar will have to render the account of his assets.
Imran Khan used to make tall claims of curbing corruption, he said adding today Pakistan has ranked at 140th number in corruption index, he said adding Imran Khan should hold press conference and tell as to why corruption graph has gone up. When Imran Khan will quit the government then Pakistan will be ranked at 180 number.
A circus show of officers has been held in Punjab, he remarked. Today the officers are inducted at favorite seats in return for bribery in Punjab and they pay this money every month. 10 commissioners of DG Khan have been changed so far. A commissioner stays there for 4 months average period.
What is reason behind transfers of officers. Its reason is only corruption, he added. Money is demanded from the officers and when they refused then they are replaced by new men. There is long list of corruption available in every department. Those who were claimants of holding accountability have been expelled. Chairman NAB too is ill .
